Supplies:
Scissors to open packages
A large spoon
Large bowl with a lid
A 1 cup measuring cup
Fruit Loops cereal
Trix cereal
Mini Marshmallows
Rainbow GoldFish Crackers
Steps:
Step 1:
Before we start, make sure you wash your hands since we will be handling food other people may eat. Clear your work space on your kitchen counter, and gather all your supplies. If you need help using scissors to open the packages or help pouring the material into the measuring cup, make sure to have an adult’s help.
Step 2:
First, we are going to start with our fruit loop cereal. Go ahead and grab your box of cereal, open the box, and open the bag of cereal. Grab your measuring cup, and pour the cereal into the measuring cup until it is all the way filled. Next, we are going to close our cereal box, and grab our large bowl. Pour the cereal from the measuring cup into the bowl.
Step 3:
Now that we have our fruit loops in our bowl, it is time to move on to our trix cereal. Go ahead and grab your box of cereal, open the box, and open the bag of cereal. Grab your measuring cup, and pour the cereal into the measuring cup until it is all the way filled. Next, we are going to close our cereal box, and grab the large bowl that has the fruit loops already in it. Pour the cereal from the measuring cup into the bowl.
Step 4:
Next, we are going to use our rainbow goldfish! Go ahead and grab your bag of rainbow goldfish and open it up. Grab your measuring cup, and pour the goldfish into the measuring cup until it is all the way filled. Next, we are going to close our goldfish bag, and grab our large bowl. Pour the goldfish from the measuring cup into the bowl.
Tip: When you're combining all your ingredients together, try and name all the colors as you see them before you put them in.
Step 5:
Now, we are going to grab our last ingredient, the mini marshmallows. Go ahead and grab your bag of mini marshmallows and open the bag. Grab your measuring cup, and pour the mini marshmallows into the measuring cup until it is all the way filled. Next, we are going to close our bag of mini marshmallows. Pour the mini marshmallows from the measuring cup into the bowl.

Step 6:
Now that we have all of our colorful ingredients in our large bowl, it is time to mix. Grab your large spoon, and mix all the ingredients together by using a circular motion. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well mixed!
*Fun Tip: To make the mixing more exciting, you can put the lid on your bowl, make sure it is closed all the way, and shake it up! It will mix together on it’s on and make a cool sound!
Step 7:
You are all done! Take a handful, and enjoy this tasty treat! Remember to put the lid on your bowl so it stays fresh!
*Fun Fact: Rainbows have 7 different colors! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Sometimes, your teacher may say ROY G BIV to represent all the colors!
