Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

Making a mug cake in the microwave is a simple tasty treat for school age children and adolescents! They are able to follow the directions and measure the ingredients! Measuring out the ingredients will help school age children work on numeracy skills. They can choose what add ins they would like! Make sure to let the mug cool down before taking it out of the microwave. This mug cake is perfect as an individual serving size and will taste super scrumptious!
You will need:

A mug
A fork
4 tbsp flour (you can use any kind)
2 tbsp brown sugar
¼ tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp milk (you can use any kind or even water)
1/8 tsp vanilla
½ tbsp oil (you can use any kind except coconut)
2 tbsp chocolate chips
Instructions:

Once you have all of your ingredients ready to go, pour them one by one into your mug. Save the chocolate chips for after mixing.
As you mix the ingredients with a fork be sure to scrape the bottom of the mug to get all of the mixture together.
Add in the chocolate chips and swirl lightly but do not mix in too much.
Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
